Once there, one will have a therapeutic mud bath, followed by a rinse off at the island’s most visited waterfall, the Toraille waterfall. Lunch will be served at a nearby restaurant before continuing back to the boat to continue to snorkel. The clear warm mineral pool awaits where you can soak your body in the healing volcanic water. Tour Experience:
You will be driven through the old French town of Soufriere and the Fond Gens Libre community where the hike starts.
The Gros Piton hike lasts approximately three to four hours and is very strenuous, however our tour guides are patient and will allow you the time needed to rest at the location of your choice. When hiking Gros Piton nature trail, the flora offers complete protection from the sun. While hiking to the summit of Gros Piton, there are great views of the Caribbean Sea, Petit Piton and surroundings communities along the way.
The view at the top is fantastic; neighboring islands of St. Vincent and Martinique and the southern tip of St. Lucia can be seen. One hikes back to the community, to the taxi, where cold drinks will be served before returning to the resort.

Preparation for hike: Have a good night sleep, ensure to have breakfast before hiking. Try to consume less or no alcohol the day before and on the day of the hike. Hydrating yourself by drinking plenty of water the day before will also help a lot! Please wear proper attire so that you feel comfortable when hiking (wear hiking shoes or trainers, short pants or loose long pants.) Light Bag packs are recommended, not side bags.

EN BAS SAUT RAINFOREST HIKE

⁶The En Bas Saut Rainforest is one of the best forest trails on the island because of its cascading falls half way on the hike. This St Lucia Hiking adventure is one that you won’t forget, get ready to experience the beauty of St. Lucia’s rainforest, flora and fauna and be educated about nature!

This tour starts with a relaxing drive down to the community of Fond St. Jacques to the forest!
The four miles hike is moderate when hiking down to the waterfall but strenuous hiking upwards and lasts about three hours. The first quarter, one hikes about forty five minutes along vegetable farms to the entrance of the En Bas Saut Rainforest Trail. The rainforest trail is covered with dense foliage and endemic tree species such as the Chatagnier and Gommier, it is also a good trail to see some of the island’s one hundred and fifty bird species including the St. Lucian Parrot- the Amazona Versicolor. The trail descends 600 feet to the waterfall where we stop for a refreshing swim. One hikes back the same trail to the bus. A great tour with a combination of: history, flora, fauna, hiking, waterfall (and therapeutic mud bath if desired.)

DENNERY ZIP LINE ADVENTURE

This adventurous hike takes you for through the villages of Choiseul, Laborie and down to Vieux fort, with photo stops along the way. The drive continues to the island’s west coast through the district of Micoud and then to Dennery where the zip line is located.
Explore zip lining on our east coast among lush rainforest, coconut trees, rivers and fruit bearing trees, zipping from one platform to the next, through thick forest and gigantic tree ferns and Chatagnier trees. Experience this adrenaline rush as you zip from heights of 120 feet (the tallest platform) and tour lasts approximately 1 1/2hours. ISLAND SHOPPING & RUM DISTILLERY
SCENIC DRIVE TO THE CAPITAL, SHOP A MARKET AND DUTY FREE COMPLEX
This tour starts with a drive along the island’s scenic west coast with photo stops along the way to the capital Castries. Once there, we visit the world renowned ‘Eudovic’s art Studio’ where fine wood sculptures are made. Secondly, we stop at Caribelle batik where silk screen printing is done (clothes are hand painted and designed). Shopping in St Lucia is like nowhere else in the world!
From there we proceed to the Castries Market where a wide range of arts & crafts, local souvenirs and spices are being sold. The tour continues to Caribelle Batik for tour and demonstration of fabrics designs, after which shopping will be done.
We continue back to the west coast to visit the rum distillery where you get a live tour of how rum is made and one can also sample the types of local rums on display which are also available for purchasing.
